Splitboard - Unisex -
Another model in the Splitboard range from Amplidis the Surf Shuttle. This splitboard is aimed at advanced riders. A more affordable model than the rest of the range, the Surf Shuttle, like the Tour Operator and Mahalo, offers slightly heavier but much stronger splitboard options.
The directional shape of the Surf Shuttle with the wider and longer nose, the swallow tail, combined with the Cruise Cambercamber, gives the board better lift in powder without impacting grip on harder snow. The moderate flex of the Surf Shuttle (6/10) offers exceptional surfy sensations in powder.
Amplid built the Surf Shuttle to make hiking trips more comfortable. It has a lighter weight thanks to its Lite Core core, which offers an excellent weight/performance ratio. So with the Surf Shuttle, climbing is easy. On the downhill it will not fail you, and will bring you maximum pleasure.
If you're looking for an affordable splitboard offering exceptional riding sensations, the Surf Shuttle is the one to turn to.

Shape:
Tapered Directional Classic shape with the nose slightly longer than the tail for float on powder. Tapered refers to a shape in which the tip is wider than the tail, making it easier to enter and exit turns, allowing for greater stability at high speeds, and improved float.
All Terrain Tips kicked spatulas for improved flotation in deep snow and powder.
Core:
Knuckle Sandwich : Knuckle Sandwich construction replaces traditional materials that are prone to damage due to the specific use of a splitboard, for greater durability.
Lite Core A range of different types of wood, treated, cut and aligned to ensure optimum power-to-weight ratio.
Basalt Suspension Strips : basalt fibre reinforcements are arranged in a V shape from the contact points to the centre of the inserts. The basalt inserts act as shock absorbers.
Pre-cured Impact Plates : core reinforcement at fastener inserts limiting impact caused by fasteners.
Topsheet:
Biax Glass Double layer of fibreglass applied in both directions for a responsive, forgiving board.
Sole:
Sintered 7 base Premium wax-absorbing frit sole for unrivalled glide.
Bolted Tip Clips Use of screws instead of rivets. Easier to change in case of breakage
Splitboard Tune The edges are slightly rounded at the ends to make it easier to fit and remove skins.
Customs clips : The forged aluminium board hooks, designed in-house byAmplid's R&D team, offer a reliable yet weightless connection between board halves and have a matt black aesthetic.
