They are the must-have skis for the backcountry, light and manoeuvrable skis for uphill skiing that makes no compromises when it comes to tracing great lines downhill.
The Superguide range from Scott offers the perfect balance between performance, power and lightness. It is intended for skiers of good levels who wish to venture off the beaten track to carve through the snow.
This is the widest version of the Superguide range, making it a super stable ski with good lift off-piste. Apart from its dimensions, the Superguide Freetour, the eldest member of the family, has the same construction as the Superguide 88 and the Superguide 95.
The Superguide Freetour has a paulownia wood core with hardwood reinforcements for a ski that is light but with more rigidity.
Its semi-elliptical sandwich construction with sloping carbon and aramid edges provides excellent torsional rigidity while reducing weight considerably. With Scott's unique 3Dimension Sidecut, the skis are lively and allow for easy turn initiation despite a long radius. You can also adapt your turns as you want and according to the type of terrain.
In terms of shape, the Superguide Freetour has the Rocker 320 Pro-Tip giving it the necessary lift in deep snow as well as versatility and agility.
This provides the ski with good grip and makes it stable, versatile and light enough to face even the biggest slopes without flinching. Finally, the Superguide has a quick and easy skin fixation system developed by the brand.
The Superguide Freetour is made for those looking for a wide touring ski to go after untouched powder, it is both stable with lift and light.

This revolutionary sidecut design combines a tip radius and a heel radius with a centre flat or light underfoot sidecut. The tip and tail radii make it easy to initiate turns, while the center flat (freeskiing) or the wider radius (all conditions) provide stability, power and precise edge hold. This proven design has won several awards in ski testing.
