The Sidewinder 2027 from the brand Capita is a snowboard designed for carving enthusiasts seeking precision, grip, and power on piste.
Its flex offers a balance between responsiveness and forgiveness, allowing for smooth linking of turns while maintaining control as the pace picks up. Its Directional shape with a 0.8" setback promotes stability when descending and commitment in turns.
The Alpine V3 profile combines a low camber with short flat zones at the ends of the sidecut, merging the power and responsiveness of traditional camber with greater control. Its progressive sidecut eases turn initiation and supports precise trajectories, while its shaped tail favours dynamic turn exits.
Its Dual Core™, made of poplar and beech, combines lightness, liveliness, and durability. The Special Blend fiberglass and Magic Bean™ resin reinforce the construction, while the carbon and aramid reinforcements add more power and responsiveness without weighing the board down. Finally, the Quantum Drive™ sintered base efficiently absorbs wax to provide fast and lasting glide, provided it is properly maintained.
