60 days to change your mindThe Session 85 is a touring ski from Movement.
Movement has over the years become a big name in the manufacture of touring skis. They expertly balance the priorities of weight and performance so that while on the descent you feel like you're on freeride skis, they also take you to summits comfortably.
With a 85mm waist, the Session 85 is the thinnest and lightest ski in the Session range. It has been designed for tourers with high standards looking for a ski that is as efficient uphill as it is downhill.
A lot of thought has gone into optimising the weight of the ski: the Paulownia wood core is lightweight and the addition of the Carbon 5 axis provides more grip on packed snow, and stability without weighing the ski down. The Session 85 is designed for those seeking elevation gain and for those who want to save their energy for the descent.
On the steep slopes, this ski proves to be reactive thanks to the Carbon 5 axis, giving you an unforgettable thrill. Its rocker gives it nice lift in powder as well as easy manoeuvrability. In addition, the VA-Tech technology damps vibration, which reduces leg fatigue on difficult passages.

Technologies:
- DPR Ti: Two-plate system, one made of fibreglass and the other made of Titanal, fully incorporated beneath the bindings to ensure the screws are anchored perfectly, for foolproof stability.
- VA-Tech : Natural rubber layer with incorporated fibreglass positioned at the front of the ski to damp vibration.
- Carbon 5-Axis: Minimum weight and maximum performance in the most variable conditions. More reactivity and grip on hard snow or steep slopes due to the torsion resistance.

Plus confortable et accessible que le session 95 car optant pour un patin un peu plus étroit et surtout un rocker en talon contre un talon plat pour le 95, le Session 85 offre vraiment l'équilibre parfait qu'on attend d'un ski de randonnée : légèreté, stabilité, accroche, déjaugeage...
Le Session 85 est très agile et reste relativement confortable et joueur grâce à ce double rocker bien dosé.
