This new generation binding combines the efficiency of an insert binding with the performance of an alpine binding. It is the ideal binding for skiers who want to vary their practices and explore the whole mountain!
The S/Lab Shift Mnc is the first Salomon binding that makes no compromises, whatever its use. It offers an insert stop design and allows full heel rotation for unbeatable efficiency in touring mode. An easy-to-use lever allows you to switch from ski mode to touring mode in a matter of moments. The 47 mm elasticity and long heel stop allow for exceptional power transmission and efficiency, while absorbing shocks.
The added bonus? The S/Lab Shift Mnc 10 is made from a new material, carbon infusion polyamide which, combined with aluminium and steel, makes it a very light (only 1.7 kg per pair!) but very strong and durable binding.
The S/Lab Shift Mnc 10 is also MNC (Multi-Norm Certified), which means that it is compatible with all standard ski boots on the market!

The stop of the Shift is height-adjustable so that it can be adapted to all types of footwear without compromising safety and gliding performance.
Shoe Compatibility:
The Shift binding is compatible with alpine boots on descent, but requires insert boots on the way up.
Your hiking boot needs to have a front overhang to be able to put on the binding on the way down.
