The Rustler 9, narrower than its big brothers Rustler 10 and 11, is an incredible combination of pure performance and playful handling.
Its wood core Trueblend, made of beech, poplar and paulownia, ensures balanced flex and high responsiveness. This blend of wood creates three distinct flex zones: a flexible zone in the tip and tail for easy transitions, a rigid zone underfoot for excellent adhesion/grip, and an intermediate zone for good balance. Combined with technology FluxFormthat provides reinforcement to the ski's structure and improves its durability, this core offers a smooth, fluid feel underfoot.
The profile Rocker-Camber-Rocker of the Rustler 9 guarantees excellent lift in Powder snow, while offering precise adhesion/grip on hard snow. In addition, the recommended binding ( Marker Griffon 13 sold separately) perfectly complements this ski, offering excellent support and optimal power transmission.

| TRUEBLEND FREE WOODCORE | This core specifically positions three different densities of wood to form a wooden core specifically designed to optimize the ski's flex and provide a smooth, balanced feel. This combination of different wood densities creates three distinct flex zones: a flexible flex zone in the tip and tail areas, which makes it easier to initiate and release turns; a medium flex zone in front of and behind the binding, which helps to provide confidence and control; and finally, a stiffer flex zone in the centre, under the binding, which guarantees perfect grip and stability. |
| FLUXFORM CONSTRUCTION | The FluxForm is designed to work in perfect combination with the Trueblend Wood Core. Like its core, the FluxForm is specifically sized for each model. The tips are tapered for perfect floatation and the tail is wider for more support during quick turns in Powder snow and cliff landings. |

The 9 is the latest addition to the Rustler range, with a similar, but narrower base. As with its big brothers, it's a stable ski with reinforced carbon/titanium, but only in key areas, so you can enjoy a playful ski and a freeride performance. In terms of behaviour, we love how easy it is to pivot and lengthen the curve.
It's a typical all-mountain freeride ski, but it also has some freestyle skills, with good pop and excellent balance. We love it!
Pros: Almost everything: stability, versatility, playful behaviour, manoeuvrability, balance, price!
