Removable Airbag System 3.0 black
The Removable Airbag System 3.0 is an avalanche airbag system based on a square, brightly-colored airbag that deploys behind the wearer’s head within seconds. The new system is safe and easy to use. It is even lighter and smaller than before and can be attached to all Removable 3.0-compatible backpacks.

Our lightest airbag system: Without its carbon cartridge, the system weighs just 690 g (1010 g including the carbon cartridge)

Compatibility:
This new Airbag 3.0 system is not compatible with previous generations' airbags.
Mammut Airbag 3.0 bags are not compatible with Airbag 1.0 and 2.0 systems.
With a weight of approximately 1 kg, this new airbag system developed by Mammut makes it possible to have lighter bags, more pleasant to carry both uphill and downhill. Comfort is improved with this new, lighter and more compact system. The thinner straps are almost like the classic straps of a ski bag, which means that you no longer have to worry about thick straps. The Airbag 3.0 system is removable which makes the bag more versatile, with the possibility of removing the system when you don't need your Airbag. The Mammut Airbag bags have been developed to be used in the most extreme situations with particular use in temperatures ranging from -30°C to + 50°C.
The inflation system of the new Airbag 3.0 system has been improved with an air amplifier that is coupled with the inflation system to have a faster and more efficient inflation without having a larger system.
The handle has also been redesigned to be more intuitive, compact and adjustable in length.
The airbag has a volume of 150L when inflated. It is made of very resistant materials (ripstop nylon) and draws on expertise developed in the automotive industry, which results in a robust, light and compact airbag.
