Redline Skate

The Redline Skate from the Madshus brand are high-end Nordic ski boots designed for skating competitions.

Built with a new Redline Integrated Carbon Basebase, which is lighter than on previous versions, these shoes offer good rigidity underfoot and prevent lateral deformation when pushing off. The very slim, close-to-ankle geometry stabilises the back of the foot when the ski is put down. The driving precision is remarkable, especially on compact snow where the boots do not undergo any deformation whatsoever.

The new Velcro® strap has no loop and the Velcro is integrated directly into the collar. The entire upper surface of the shoe is made from softshell membrane, which provides protection from the elements and excellent ventilation during exertion. Finally, Race Wrap™ technology creates excellent midfoot support, and the memory heel offers all the comfort you'll need to glide for long hours.

Note: very close to the foot and rather narrow, these shoes are not suitable for very wide feet and strong instep. They fit rather small, so don't be afraid to go up a size.
