The Race Pro 2.0 Top Fix Race is a pair of skins for touring skis from Pomoca.

This product was developed in collaboration with athletes from the Swiss skis.

As the name suggests, the Race Pro 2.0 Top Fix Race is a competition pair of skins. The tensioner has been specifically designed for competitors. These skins have a good balance between good glide (Glide Pro) and good grip (Grip) when climbing! The tensioner is only 5 g, the lightest in the range.

The SSL has made it possible to reduce the weight of the Race Pro Grip without sacrificing waterproofing. Pomoca is concerned about the environment and therefore offers a skin without perfluorocarbons thanks to the Ever Dry 3.0 process.

The Race Pro Grip includes: a strong elastic cord (3.5 mm), an elliptical ring with two eccentric holes and a system at the end for very quick unhooking and of course a pair of skins.

Technology:

SSL : Thanks to thinner layers, POMOCA has succeeded in making its classic SAFER SKIN. SAFER SKIN LIGHT (SSL) membrane 12% lighter, i.e. a weight difference of 150g/m2. SSL makes a pair of skins of about 60-75g lighter while maintaining 100% waterproofing.

Grip: Good grip on the way up is very important. For this reason, POMOCA has developed a combination of materials and weaving techniques that combine glide and durability with grip. Good alignment and hair setting techniques make POMOCA skins very stable in all conditions and for the entire life of the skin.

Glide Pro: POMOCA has developed a new GLIDE process. With the same application technology, but a new GLIDE PRO product of very high quality, skins with GLIDE PRO offer an exceptional additional glide, essential for top-level competitors.

EVER DRY 3.0 : In 2015, POMOCA removed the chemical component PFOA from all its skins. POMOCA doesn't stop there and is developing a fluorine-free hydrophobic treatment: EVER DRY 3.0. This work brings POMOCA to the forefront of textile regulations and brings it closer to a 100% eco-friendly skin. Since 2020 all POMOCA skins are PFC FREE!
