The Patrol E2 30 Kit is equipped with the Alpride Airbag System E2. This system is smaller and lighter than its predecessor, allowing you to carry more gear in the backpack. Indeed, Scott offers a backpack weighing only 2830 g with the complete system (1690 g without the system). A nice bonus: the Airbag Alpride system is removable and can be taken out very easily when you don’t need it, lightening the pack while gaining space.
