The Ubac 89 W 2027 Burgundy from the brand ZAG is the touring ski for advanced women’s ski mountaineering that combines lightness and performance for challenging outings in the mountains.
Its Light construction combines a lightweight and durable paulownia core with a double multiaxial layer of fibreglass and carbon fibres, offering a perfect balance between stiffness and manoeuvrability. The semi cap structure guarantees optimal force transmission and excellent edge grip on hard snow, thanks also to its ABS edges which enhance resistance to cold and impacts.
The steel edges, combined with the double rocker at the tip (25%) and tail (15%) and moderate camber, ensure ideal float and great fluidity in turns. Its multi-radius shape with a short radius underfoot facilitates manoeuvrability, while maintaining appreciable tolerance in challenging snow conditions.
