Sakana 2027
Freeride skis - Men -
The Sakana 2027 is a men's freeride ski from the brand Line, designed for advanced to expert riders.
Little brother of the Pescado, a benchmark in the freeride world, the Sakana also features a Swallowtail inspired by surf design, which gives the ski impressive manoeuvrability in powder.
More versatile than its big brother, it is not only effective in fresh snow. Indeed, its 105 mm waist allows for a wider range of use, and its slightly stiffer flex delivers better performance on piste. The long camber enables strong pressure for quick turns and long edge holds while carving. Moreover, the large tip rocker includes Early Rise technology to provide enormous floatation in powder.
Very lightweight thanks to the use of paulownia in the core, the Sakana offers an excellent power-to-weight ratio and guarantees great energy return when the ski is loaded. Thanks to Fivecut technology, this ski is very manoeuvrable and turns flow effortlessly on both hardpack and powder.
The edges made of ultra-high-density polyethylene absorb terrain vibrations and ensure impeccable stability throughout the run. Furthermore, the Carbon Flax Tape inserts made of carbon and flax fibres guarantee instant power delivery.
Thus, the Sakana is an all-round freeride model that will delight skiers looking for a ski suitable for both touring and enjoying freeride all day long.

- Carbon and flax reinforcements for enhanced stiffness
- Paulownia and maple core
- Ultra-high density polyethylene sidewalls
| SWALLOWTAIL | The absence of material in the tail significantly reduces weight, while the shape maintains a long effective edge for carving turns and retaining control. In powder, the tail lets you cut loose by lifting your tips to ensure good flotation while maintaining a neutral skiing position. The tail is reinforced with ultra-durable Titanal to keep it intact. |
| DIRECTIONAL FLEX | The softer tip floats and initiates turns easily, while the stiffer tail provides power, stability, and control at high speeds. |
| EARLY RISE | The tip and endpiece lift off the snow to bring the contact points closer to the centre of the ski. This increases the ski's flotation in deep snow and allows it to engage more quickly on hard snow when rolling onto the edge. |
| FIVECUT | Five different sidecut radius shapes are combined into one to offer perfect ski control, whatever the pressure applied to the edge. This keeps the ski agile and responsive at any speed. |
