The Rise 80 Black/Blue is a ski touring ski for beginners and intermediate skiers from the brand Völkl.
Designed to mark the brand’s 100th anniversary, this ski is exceptionally light thanks to an integrated wooden core Tourlite Woodcore made from lightweight woods such as poplar and paulownia. You'll really appreciate the weight of the pack on the climbs. Its 80 mm waist will improve the handling of the ski, giving you better control both on the ascent and on the descent.
When it comes to descent riding, the Rise 80 proves to be very agile thanks to its Tip Rocker , whilst its flat heel provides a touch more rigidity. In difficult snow conditions, the ride remains smooth.
Another advantage is that this model also features integrated technology SkinPin that makes fitting the skins quick and easy, saving you time and energy on your ascents.
So, the Rise 80 is an accessible ski touring ski, perfect for continuing to improve your ski touring skills with a lightweight, versatile ski!

- Resistant Full Cap construction with an outer coating that covers the entire core
| Core - TOURLITE WOODCORE | An exceptionally lightweight laminated wood core, specially designed for ski touring. Poplar wood, carefully selected for its light weight, provides the ski with the necessary stability around the steel edges, whilst paulownia wood, which is both flexible and light, gives it flexibility in the mid-section. The beech wood integrated into the bracket provides the necessary reinforcement to hold the bracket screws in place. At the centre of the core, a CNC-milled Isocore zone contributes to exceptional responsiveness and optimum dynamic performance. |
| SOLE - P-TEX 2100 | A high-density, high-molecular-weight sintered polyethylene sole offering high durability and exceptional glide. |
| SKINPIN | The skins are attached to the ski tip by a pin (pinrotated 90°). The result: a 100% reliable binding. As the device is visible from above, the ski hiker retains complete control at all times. The hole at the tip of the ski can be used, if necessary, for construction of a rescue sledge or sled. |
