Description

The PYL UnInc DCP Xtrm 2025 from Yes is much more than just a snowboard. Inspired by David Porcheron, this board reflects his passion for snowboarding and surfing, with an innovative design that evokes the essence of both sports.

Its unique, wider shape maximises the gliding surface and guarantees impeccable control, even on the most extreme terrain. Thanks to Hybrid technology and a profile designed for big mountain riding, the PYL UnInc DCP Xtrm excels on all types of terrain.
Its tapered Tapered UnderBite shape improves flotation and provides a precise directional ride, ideal for riders looking for freeride performance. The coreless tail allows the board to sink into the powder better without compromising its torsional stiffness, for a mountain surf feel.

The board benefits from the Forever Flexprocess, which stabilises the flex and rocker profile over time for consistent performance, session after session. With an ultra-fast sole sintered , you'll enjoy optimal wax absorption and a smooth glide, while the Poplar/Paulownia core guarantees lightness and responsiveness.
Finally, TRIAX glass fibre enhances stability and offers greater precision at high speeds.

With its signature James Daltondesign, inspired by Wolf Pack by David, the PYL UnInc DCP Xtrm embodies the loyalty and protection of the pack. This board invites you to face the mountains with the determination of a wolf, in complete confidence and in harmony with your environment.

Shape:

- Directionel : A directional snowboard is designed for optimum performance in one main direction, generally with a tip that is longer and sharper than the tail. This design improves stability, control and flotation in a variety of conditions, making it particularly suited to carving, powder and all-mountain exploration. The asymmetry makes it easier to corner naturally and provides a more dynamic downhill driving experience. Suitable for riders who prefer a specific orientation for different terrain, a directional snowboard excels in responsiveness, offering a smooth, predictable ride that complements the nuances of specific riding styles and conditions.

- Camrock 1-4-1: Camrocker boards have a profile where the centre of the board is closer to the snow, and the nose and tail are raised.
Improves flotation in powder, easier to initiate turns and is generally more forgiving.
May sacrifice a little edge hold and stability compared to traditional camber.

Construction:

- Sintered: Sintered soles from YES Snowboards are made by fusing tiny particles of polyethylene under heat and pressure, creating a porous and durable surface. Known for their superior speed and ability to absorb wax, these bases are appreciated by advanced riders for their high-performance capabilities in different snow conditions.

- Poplar/Paulownia Core: The YES Snowboards Poplar/Paulownia core is made from 50% poplar and 50% paulownia. Poplar offers a light consistency and flex, improving agility. Paulownia, which is even lighter, reduces weight while maintaining strength. This blend creates a lightweight, responsive and durable snowboard that's perfect for a range of riding styles and conditions.

- Triax : Triaxial fibreglass or "Triax" on a snowboard refers to a fibreglass construction where the fibres are oriented in three directions, generally along the length and width of the board and at an angle. This configuration adds torsional rigidity to the board, improving its stability and responsiveness. Snowboards with triaxial fibreglass tend to offer a more precise and controlled feel, making them suitable for riders who prefer stability at high speeds, better edge hold and better performance in difficult conditions. Triaxial fibre is often used in snowboards designed for advanced and aggressive riding styles.

Technology:

Forever Flex Forever Flex is a manufacturing process that stabilises a board's flex and rocker for its entire lifespan. Our boards finish the first stages of production slightly overbraced, then we 'break' them using a specialised machine that imitates the extreme use of the board. By flexing the fresh board fibres and epoxy at the factory, the materials settle into their final layout within the board layup, as if you'd been wrinkling the board for 20 days. This process helps us reduce our production tolerances so that the board you buy has a more accurate flex and rocker profile that will change less as you ride it more often.
Team review
