Freeride skis - Unisex -
The Poisson 2027 is a unisex ski from the Line brand designed for freeride skiing, aimed at advanced skiers seeking to combine performance and enjoyment in the mountains with excellent floatation.
Its construction features a paulownia wood core that ensures a perfect balance between lightness and durability. The ski benefits from the SWALLOWTAIL, an innovative technology that reduces weight by removing material from the endpiece/hinge mount while maintaining a long edge for precise turn control. The DIRECTIONAL FLEX optimises manoeuvrability with a soft tip to initiate turns easily and a stiff tail for greater stability and power.
The Poisson 2027 is equipped with a sintered base guaranteeing optimal glide and high abrasion resistance. Its edges feature GAS PEDAL METAL reinforcement in Titanal for maximum grip and outstanding torsional stability. The FATTY BASE & EDGE™ technology increases durability with thick edges and base, while the THICK-CUT SIDEWALL enhances impact resistance for extended longevity.
With its tip rocker/standard camber profile and a 110 mm waist width, the Poisson 2027 offers exceptional agility and stability, perfect for confidently navigating all terrains, from powder to hard snow.

- Sintered base for optimal glide and increased resistance to shocks and abrasion
- Paulownia core
- Ultra-high-density polyethylene sidewalls
| SWALLOWTAIL | The absence of material in the tail significantly reduces weight, while the shape maintains a long effective edge to arc turns and keep control. In powder, the tail lets you land back in the snow by lifting your tips for good flotation while maintaining a neutral skiing position. The tail is reinforced with ultra-durable Titanal to stay intact. |
| DIRECTIONAL FLEX | The softer tip floats and initiates turns easily, while the stiffer tail provides power, stability, and control at high speed. |
| THICK-CUT SIDEWALL | We have increased the amount of sidewall extending into the ski core while adding more material on the steel edges to increase the total contact surface. This creates sidewalls that are more resistant to impacts from hard edges, such as rails. |
| GAS PEDAL METAL | The Titanal, concentrated across the width of the ski, enhances edge grip and torsional stability while maintaining a lively feel along the entire ski length. Two independent Titanal pieces for the tip and endpiece add power and energy. |
| EARLY RISE | The tip and tail lift off the snow to bring the contact points closer to the ski’s centre. This increases the ski’s flotation in deep snow and allows it to engage more quickly on hard snow when rolling on the edge. |
| FATTY BASE & EDGE™ | A base and edges 30% thicker, with steel edges measuring 2 mm wide x 2.5 mm high and a 1.7 mm thick base, significantly increase the durability and lifespan of the skis. |
| 5CUT™ Multi-Radius Sidecut | Five different sidecut radii are combined into one to provide the ski with perfect control regardless of the pressure applied on the edge. This allows the ski to remain agile and responsive at any speed. |
