The Mega Death 2025 is a men's freeride snowboard from Capita designed for expert riders.
Inspired by the contemporary The Black Snowboard Of Death killer for its versatility, this Mega version has been thought through to the last detail to offer an ultra-lightweight and very powerful ride.
Indeed its Alpine V1 profile offers a mid-body camber with a flat tail on its base and a WAH-POW! tip for maximum pop while retaining significant stability while its inverted camber nose will, meanwhile, make you glide over very deep snow. Its slight positive camber also makes it easier to land and steer this freeride machine!
Construction-wise, this Mega Death is built around a Thermopolymer Starship Core™ core that offers a perfect balance between strength and lightness. This unique hybrid core retains all the poplar's pop while adding recycled thermopolymer channels for incomparable sensations underfoot. In addition, the Megadrive™ sole is made from modified UHMW polyethylene with a high carbon content and special fluorine additives. This guarantees constant speed, whether in powder or on piste.

| Cambre - ALPINE V1 | This configuration has a mid-body camber with a flat tail and an inverted cambered nose. This provides tons of pop and stability on hard snow, while increasing flotation and landing power in deep snow. The camber is longer in the tail, offering extra power for climbing or for taller riders attracted by a wide series. |
| Shape - DIRECTIONAL/NEW AGE PROGRESSIVE DEATH GRIP™ | Shape with the bindings slightly further back towards the tail and a slightly longer nose for better flotation in deep snow. The sidecut changes along the board to allow for easy turn initiation while maintaining good control during the turn. |
| Core - THERMOPOLYMER STARSHIP CORE™ | Using an advanced electronic sorting system, we select mega premium poplars, certified for reforestation, graded according to grain weight and consistency. Comparable to Paulownia in terms of strength to weight ratio, this core retains the poplar pop, and achieves unique sensations by adding post-consumer recycled thermopolymer channels to form an advanced hybrid core. |
