Freeride skis - Men -
The Mantra 108 is a freeride ski from Völkl for skiers looking for speed, buoyancy and performance.
This ski is designed to cut the mountain in half at the speed of light. With carbon tips and a Multilayer Woodcore core made from a mix of poplar and beech, this ski is versatile to modulate power according to the snow conditions.
What's more, the technology 3D.Radius Sidecut makes it easy to manoeuvre and stable, whether you're doing small bends or big curves at full speed. So despite the width of the skate, edge changes are optimised to make you more agile and better able to adapt to changing terrain. This construction is perfectly adapted to the double rocker which improves the initiation of turns in all types of snow.
Its construction Titanal Frame is stiffer and less manoeuvrable than the Tailoredbut offers better transmission of pressure and much more power. Another innovation is the Carbon Tips which gives greater precision to the spatula. The carbon fibres are strategically positioned in different thicknesses to provide better turning initiation, and also to allow you to have fun with the ski.
This ski is powerful because of its construction Full Sidewall but also promises greater durability because it has been designed to withstand external impacts. The compact, high-quality sole offers even more excellent glide thanks to the P-Tex 2100.
Aggressive and versatile, the Mantra 108 will be ideal for expert skiers who know how to send it on all terrains!

Material:
- Carbon
- Titanal
- Wood (ash and poplar)
| 3D. Radius Sidecut | Use of the long radius in tip and tail for large turns at high speed The tip resists high speeds and there is no radius limit on exiting bends for greater ease of use. Use of the shorter radius for small bends at medium speed. This makes for easy corner entry, outstanding agility and, above all, less effort in short bends. |
| Multilayer Woodcore | Multi-layer wooden core with two different wood densities. A dense ash core is used in the binding area, while the rest of the ski has a poplar core. The denser wood holds the screws in place and provides stability, while the softer poplar section offers resilience and flexibility. |
| Full Sidewall | Power transmission is strong and direct. |
| Carbon Tips |
A technique for embroidering individual carbon fibres onto a carrier material. This allows them to be positioned exactly along the tension lines, opening up entirely new performance possibilities at the front of the ski, which has a decisive influence on the ski's manoeuvrability. Lightweight, they allow you to react with less effort and store energy quickly. The result is a new level of precision, direct tip response and active skiing pleasure. |
| Titanal Frame |
The 0.7mm-thick titanium frame is integrated along the sidewall and in the tip and tail area of the ski. In this way, the ski offers the stability and damping that experienced skiers expect in the most critical areas of the tip and tail. A second, thinner layer of Titanal (0.3 mm) under the binding gives the ski the strength it needs. In this way, the fastening screws offer a very reliable hold, even in the most difficult conditions, and the super thin layer allows a supple flex in the middle of the body. Thanks to this highly complex construction, skiers benefit from an unprecedented combination of liveliness and stability at high speed. |
| P-Tex 2100 | Sintered high-density high molecular weight polyethylene base with high strength and exceptional sliding. |
