The Hovercraft 2.0 from Jones is a benchmark in the freeride snowboard world. What sets it apart is the extreme floatation it offers in powder.
Its name Hovercraft, which means air-cushion vehicle in French, is proof of this—it glides on the surface of the powder. This new 2.0 version has been slightly redesigned to provide a more aggressive turn initiation and better glide.
Its Directional Rocker profile features a very pronounced rocker at the nose, allowing your centre of gravity to shift to the rear to sink the tail into the snow and thus feel unparalleled agility and floatation. The High 3D Base Contour technology curves the extremities upwards, further enhancing the sensation of flying above the snow. Finally, its considerable waist width allows you to effortlessly float over fresh powder.
Powder is not the only terrain where the Hovercraft 2.0 excels. Equipped with serrated edges High Traction Tech, the edge/snow contact points are multiplied, ensuring reliable grip on groomed snow. Add to this a layer of Biax Fiberglass which offers excellent energy redistribution when flexed, a stiff flex rating of 3/5, and a large turn radius (9 m at 156 cm size), and you get a board capable of chaining endless carved turns!
Snowleader tip: choose a size 6 to 8 cm shorter than your usual board.

| SHAPE DIRECTIONAL | The nose is longer and wider than the tail and the inserts are set back towards the rear of the board. These features help provide greater flotation in powder. |
| DIRECTIONAL CAMBER/ROCKER | Dominant camber enhanced with rocker in the nose and little to no rocker in the tail. The nose rocker improves flotation and manoeuvrability in deep snow, while the camber from the front binding to the tail offers excellent edge hold, precise response, and confidence-inspiring stability. |
| HIGH 3D CONTOUR BASE | A 3D Contour base focused on freeride with a 7 mm shovel bevel in the nose and 0 to 7 mm shovel bevel in the tail. The shovel bevel starts just before the contact point. |
| LOW TRACTION TECH | Like a serrated knife slicing through snow, Traction Tech enhances your edge grip by adding multiple contact points along the length of your board. |
| RE-UP TECH CORE | Revolutionary wood core made from responsibly harvested paulownia and poplar, with specially positioned stringers integrated and made from recycled snowboards. |
| TOPSHEET SUSTAINABLE FLAX TOP | Carbon-neutral flax fibre topsheet layer, abrasion-resistant and absorbs vibrations in rough snow. |
| BIAX FIBERGLASS | Biaxial fiberglass laminate manufactured with a double-layer, bi-directional construction that offers a forgiving yet lively board feel with a medium-soft torsional flex and quick energy transfer. |
| SINTERED 8000 BASE | High-quality sintered base material, ultra-fast, highly wax-absorbent, easy to repair, and proven to be one of the most durable and long-lasting base materials in the industry. |
