The Helio Carbon 102 is a touring ski from Black Diamond.

Our range Helio Carbon is made up of skis designed for backcountry skiing. The skis are similar to the Helio Recon range that we already knew, but in a lighter version to be able to take on more greater elevation. This range offers a choice of widths : from 88 for race and touring enthusiasts on technical terrain to 115 for powder lovers looking for untouched lines.

The Helio Carbon 102 is the strongest ski in the range Helio Carbon. It's designed for powder skiers looking for stability on the way up and powerful glide on the way down.

This ski has a poplar wood core reinforced with a carbon fibre structure and strategic doses of fibreglass. This structure offers a progressive flex with good torsional rigidity for such a light ski. The ski also has ABS edges down the entire length of the ski. This provides cushioning and a more incisive and easy edge hold. Finally, the front and rear rockers provide good lift in powder, especially when you need to make your first tracks in fresh snow.

As you can see, this is the powder ski par excellence, the one you can take all year round for off-piste skiing and ski touring.
