Freeride Snowboard - Men -
The Excavator 2025 is a men's freeride snowboard from K2 Snowboard.
The shape of this says a lot about how to use it. Its directional profile shows that it is a downhill a snowboard intended for use on powder snow. The directional shape of the board is designed to provide precision, maneuverability and float in deep snow.
It also features the S1 Core developped by K2 that is a blend of 3 types of wood, including bamboo for strength and flexibility. This core provides optimum rigidity for incisive turns while retaining outstanding edge-to-edge response. However, it is a board that retains good manoeuvrability due to its wider footprint and shorter length thanks to the Volume Shift™ technology.
For more power and liveliness the topsheet ICG™ 10 Carbon Fiberglass contains carbon fibre. The Wax Infused Sintered 4001 base found on the Excavator is the strongest fastest and lightest base around. You will feel a glide and a speed that is incomparable to other snowboards.
Finally the icing on the cake: the Carbon Power Fork™ Carbon inserts in the tail area allow you to feel a great energy return so you can really go for it.
L'Excavator is a versatile board that will allow intermediate riders to achieve their best carves on the piste and your best slashes in the powder.

| Cambre - DIRECTIONAL | The most responsive camber profile in the range, featuring camber from the front foot to the tail of the board with a slight early rise in the nose. This gives the rider the greatest possible precision and control over any terrain, while floating effortlessly over deep ground. |
| Shape - DIRECTIONAL | The directional shape is a classic snowboard shape, designed with a nose that is slightly longer than the tail to concentrate the pop at the tail while providing plenty of float, flow and control on all terrain and in all conditions. |
| Core - S1 CORE | A new core developed by K2, it is designed to have unparalleled strength and high level shock absorption. It is a mixture of three different woods; bamboo, aspen and paulownia. Bamboo and aspen are placed at 30° under the foot to boost edge-to-edge response and increase pressure distribution along the edge. Lightweight paulownia is placed in the middle of the board to reduce wobble and additional bamboo stringers run from nose to tail to improve grip, stability and dampening. |
| Topsheet - ICG™ 10 CARBON FIBERGLASS | Smooth all-purpose performance with a no-frills design. The fibres are woven together at 0° and 90°, creating a more forgiving bending pattern. In addition to Biax Glass, 10 carbon strips increase pop and strength without adding unnecessary rigidity. |
| SNOPHOBIOC TOPSHEET | Textured topsheet technology to evacuate snow. |
| Sole - WAX-INFUSED 4001 SINTERED BASE | The sole is made by crushing polyethylene beads under high pressure, which makes the board stronger, more durable and allows the wax to stay on longer so you can go fast even on a heavy layer of snow. |
| CARBON POWER FORK | Carbon injection in the tail of the board for an aggressive response. |
| VOLUME SHIFT™ | Decrease your height by 4 to 6 cm compared to your usual snowboard length. |
| INSERTS 2x4 | They increase the number of options for positioning your bindings in an optimal way. |
