The Dancer 79 2026 Pink is a slope / all-mountain ski from East Faction for Experienced skiers.
Thanks to the use of two titaniumplates, the skis in the range Dancer range are ultra-stable at high speeds and will absorb vibrations caused by complicated snow conditions. With their poplarwooden core, the Core Dancer 79 are extremely light and offer unparalleled Dynamism. Used on its own, poplar gives you pop, which means you get good Edge Adhesion/Grip on the slopes.
The Dancer 79 East is fairly narrow at 79 mm at the waist. It is a real carving machine on the track, but will nevertheless be able to get off the beaten track from time to time.
With a sharp look and a freeski soul, the Dancer 79 has a long rocker in the tip and a slight rocker in the tail for better lift-off in fresh snow and improved handling on the slopes, so you can switch from one edge to the next in the blink of an eye.
The sandwich construction offers straight, powerful edges over the majority of the ski, providing optimum Adhesion/Grip and lively handling in all situations.
In short, the Dancer 79 does the job very well for skiers who want to send big stuff down groomed slopes or chopped up snow.

At Faction, there are three possible binding arrangements, from the most advanced to the furthest back: Newschool / Progressive / Classic. By default, assemblies will be carried out in accordance with the brand's recommendations, i.e. Progressive on Dancer, Agent, Prodigy and La Machine ; Newschool on Studio.

When used alone, this wood provides pop, makes it easy to make butters and offers great stability when landing, three attributes necessary for a park ski, but also the torsional stability to ensure good grip on the pistes. |
| XL 2.5 MM EDGES | The 2.5mm Edges are 35% thicker than regular 1.8mm Edges, which are already very tough. The addition of Steel gives riders a ski that can withstand the 'aggression' of certain practical activities for longer. |
| ELLIPTICAL RADIUS SIDECUTS | The sidecuts with elliptic radii consist of a longer radius underfoot and shorter radius on the front and rear parts of the ski. The long radius under the foot makes pivoting quicker and easier, while the shorter radii give a smoother start to curves. These sidecuts are perfectly suited to a wide range of turn angles and sizes. |
| SANDWICH CONSTRUCTION WITH ULTRA-SOLID EDGES | This construction is based around reinforcements along the edges of the side wall, between the edge and the topsheet. The edges offer the best possible stability and Grip when the ski is negotiating a turn, while protecting the Wood core, edges and topsheet from possible impact and outer damage. |
| MICRO-CAP ANTI-SLIP | The micro cap is a Hybrid construction that combines premium edge-bonded sandwich construction with lightweight, durable cap construcion. Thanks to micro-cap, the sandwich construction provides exceptional edge hold and torsional stability, while the topsheet partially covers the edge, protecting the fragile edge that could otherwise flake off in the event of impact. |
| MOUSTACHE FLEX | Stability at the front and back of the binding zone ensures good edge hold. The soft, progressive flex in the heel and tip easily absorbs any bumps. This flex makes it easier to start and finish turns. |
| FLAT TAIL ALL MOUNTAIN | This type of traditional flat tail is designed to offer maximum speed, edge control and stability when turning at full throttle. The light rocker adds a touch of modernity, and this shape will allow you to execute your turns even more easily and will avoid any snagging in fresh snow. |
