Freeride skis - Unisex -
The Chronic 101 2027 is a versatile freeride ski from the Line brand designed for intermediate to advanced riders.
A true all-rounder, it is highly versatile while retaining a strong freeride identity. Its 101 mm waist and -40 mm stance nevertheless provide good flotation and make it very enjoyable off-piste.
All components have been designed to effectively and durably withstand the impacts of big landings and the assaults of rails and other features. Its base and edges are reinforced by 30% thanks to Fatty Base & Edge™ technology. Its symmetrical flex allows you to experience the same sensations when riding switch. With sidewalls more resistant to edge impacts and widened flanks, the Thick-cut Sidewall provides even greater durability when you place your skis on a rail.
Its ultra-high density polyethylene edges absorb the majority of vibrations and ensure significant energy return when the ski is loaded. The Thin Tip offers more lightness to the ski, enabling you to perform increasingly difficult tricks. To deliver a ski that is ever more powerful and durable, its poplar wood core is combined with Bio-Resin, promising better resistance over time.
Thus, the Chronic 101 is a stable and rather stiff ski that will provide you with excellent pop at the top of the kick. It will always be ready to take you to the best freeride spots, as well as on piste and in the park, for skiers seeking fun and versatility.

| THICK-CUT SIDEWALL | Increase in the amount of sidewall material extending into the core of the ski while adding more material on the steel edges to increase the total contact surface. This creates sidewalls that are more resistant to impacts from hard edges, such as sliding rails. |
| THIN TIP | The ski core has been extended to the tip and tail, creating a glass-to-glass bonding area in both the tip and tail. This uniformly compacts the tip and endpiece of the ski and encapsulates anything that might delaminate within a large glass-to-glass bonding zone: in case of delamination, this will prevent it from spreading into the core and limit the issue to edge chipping. |
| SYMMETRIC FLEX | The same flex pattern at the front and rear of your ski. It adapts to the terrain in the same way whether skiing forwards or switch. |
| BIO-RESIN | They offer better adhesion, improved resistance to cold temperatures, and a 20% reduction in the carbon footprint of the resin for each ski produced. |
| EARLY RISE | The tip and tail lift off the snow to bring the contact points closer to the centre of the ski. This increases the ski’s floatation in deep snow and allows it to engage more quickly on hard snow when rolling on the edge. |
| FIVECUT | Five different sidecut radius shapes are combined into one to provide the ski with perfect control, regardless of the pressure applied to the edge. This keeps the ski agile and responsive at any speed. |
