Freeride skis - Men -
The Bacon 108 2027 is a men's freeride ski from the Line brand, designed for intermediate to expert riders.
Its 108 mm waist and double rocker provide stability as well as excellent flotation on freshly fallen snow. The Symmetric Flex combined with Thin Tip technology delivers lively energy throughout the ski, allowing you to land your best tricks and chain smooth switch landings thanks to its twin tips. A dynamic pop and good float are what this ski promises to help you push further and harder! On harder snow, it is also very pleasant to ski, manoeuvrable and responsive to changes in direction.
The wood core features a combination of maple and poplar for exceptional durability and long-lasting resistance. Thanks to the combination of the Thick-cut Sidewall, which reinforces the edges and base of the ski with the Fatty Base & Edge, this ski is highly shock resistant. As you can see, this ski is built to be ridden hard.
Thus, the Bacon 108 is very playful, manoeuvrable and versatile on all types of snow: dare to try it, it won’t disappoint you!

- Sintered base for optimal glide and increased resistance to impacts and abrasion
- Maple and poplar core
- Ultra-high-density polyethylene sidewalls
| THICK-CUT SIDEWALL | Increase in the amount of sidewalls extending into the core of the ski while adding more material on the steel edges to increase the total contact surface. This creates sidewalls that are more resistant to impacts from hard edges, such as on rails. |
| THIN TIP | The ski core has been extended to the tip and tail, while creating a glass-on-glass bonding zone in the tip and tail. This uniformly compacts the tip and endpiece of the ski and encapsulates anything that could delaminate in a large glass-on-glass bonding area: in case of delamination, it prevents it from spreading into the core and limits the issue to edge chipping. |
| SYMMETRIC FLEX | The same flex pattern at the front and back of your ski. It adapts to the terrain in the same way whether skiing forwards or switch. |
| BIO-RESIN | Offers better adhesion, improved resistance to cold temperatures, and a 20% reduction in the carbon footprint of the resin for each ski produced. |
| EARLY RISE | The tip and tail lift off the snow to bring the contact points closer to the centre of the ski. This increases the ski’s floatation in deep snow and allows it to engage more quickly on hard snow when rolling onto the edge. |
| FIVECUT | Five different sidecut radii shapes are combined into one to provide the ski with perfect control, regardless of the pressure applied to the edge. This keeps the ski agile and responsive at any speed. |
