The Omen Team 2025 skis for men from K2 are designed for skiers looking for a park/jib ski. As its name suggests, this is the official ski of
New this year, the Omen range replaces the Poacher, Sight and Midnight ranges. The American brand wanted to simplify its freestyle range by keeping the DNA of the old collections while introducing new technologies.
They feature a Aspen Veneer core for lightness, responsiveness and excellent shock absorption. This core is reinforced with carbon, which adds robustness and improves power transmission, guaranteeing reliable performance even in varied conditions. The Carbon Boost Braid technology incorporates longitudinal carbon spars woven into the patented triaxial braid of K2. This structure adds 'pop' and bounce to the skis, offering greater responsiveness when changing direction and superior performance when jumping.
The Triaxial Braided Core process, also patented by K2 wraps the wood core in glass fibre, increasing torsional strength while maintaining the wood's natural flexibility. This means better power transmission and greater precision when making turns. The Twintech construction reinforces durability with solid sidewalls that provide excellent edge feel. What's more, the top sheet is specially designed to resist impact damage, particularly from ski-to-rail contact, making it an ideal choice for skiers who like to explore the park.
Finally, the skis are made from Bio-Resin a lightweight, environmentally-friendly material that guarantees consistent, energetic flex, whatever the temperature conditions. This ensures optimum performance while reducing environmental impact.
