Description

The Neo BT Pro is a high-end avalanche transceiver (DVA - Avalanche Victim Detector) from the brand Arva that combines performance and connectivity to satisfy both professionals and the new generation of users.

Equipped with a search band width of 80 m and Bluetooth technology, you can connect it to the ARVA® app to access a range of services: configure the transceiver, prepare your outing, or even train for rescue. More experienced users can also use the advanced analog mode offering automatic management of calibrations with a detection range up to 90 m.

In multi-victim situations, the Scrolling mode will be an essential ally to optimise the search process. It also features a marking function for up to 4 victims and has 3 antennas to refine search accuracy. Finally, this device is equipped with a flexible holster that adapts to all body shapes.

Whether you are a professional or a casual user, the Neo BT Pro, with its multiple features, is perfectly suited to ensure your safety during your outings in snowy terrain.

SEARCH WIDTH The search strip width corresponds to the area scanned by the search device. The greater the search strip width, the larger the area covered by the device. This can be used to compare the performance of different beacons.
AUTOMATIC RETURN TO TRANSMISSION During a search, in case of a secondary avalanche, the return to transmission function automatically switches the device back to transmission mode without user action. The return to transmission occurs either by timer, i.e., after a delay without user action, or by motion detector, after a delay without device movement. These delays can be configured in the device’s settings menu.
DYNAMIC INTERFERENCE MANAGEMENT Interference management optimises device performance during a search in an environment “polluted” by electromagnetic interference. To do this, the device automatically reduces the search strip width to focus on the signal of the device being searched for, ignoring parasitic frequencies. This function can be disabled by the user.
GROUP CHECK The Group Check function allows you to easily ensure that all group members are carrying a beacon in transmission mode. The group check function places the device in proximity search mode, allowing individual checking of each group member by standing within one metre of them.
MARKING FUNCTION During a search, once a victim is located, the marking function allows you to disregard this victim to focus on searching for another. The signal from the “marked” victim is no longer taken into account for the remainder of the search.
AUTOTEST When switched on, the device performs an automatic check. It monitors battery level, device functionality, and informs you if there is a problem.
STANDBY MODE In stand-by mode, the device is neither searching nor transmitting. This function is intended to work on the avalanche without disturbing searches with the device’s signals. In case of a secondary avalanche, the return to transmission function automatically switches the device back to transmission mode.
SCROLLING FUNCTION Victim selection allows organising a rescue by selecting the victim to be searched for, optimising the distribution of search efforts among rescuers. Victim identities are not displayed, but a victim list is created in order of proximity, allowing selection based on distance.
