Mindbender 120 Lv

The Mindbender 120 LV are men's freeride/freetouring boots from K2.

Mindbender range:

The Mindbender range has been designed targeting several major points: lightness, liveliness and fit customisation to meet the demands of freeriders, who are more and more fond of wide open spaces and therefore of hiking up to a summit with skis on their backs. 
To achieve this, K2 has developed a new type of Powerlite Shell, based on the principle of reinforcement in sensitive and strategic areas while refining less essential spaces. This seems to be the basic design premise, but it's also a task requiring craftsmanship that the American brand has achieved with the use of 4 different densities of TPU. All this offers a perfect balance between agility, power and lightness, which allows for easy climbs and all the support you expect from a freeride boot on a descent.

Mindbenders obviously have low-tech inserts for touring bindings, although they are perfectly suited for alpine bindings. They also have 50° of movement for an extremely natural ride, whether on the flat or in steep terrain. The GripWalk soles are also perfectly adapted since their curved "rocker" shape allows for easy walking, and the grip is adapted to technical terrain.

In addition to the weight, there are many innovations in the boot in the range. The Fastfit Instep cushions the top part of the inside of the boot to make it easier to put them on. Struggling to get into your boots on a cold February morning will be a thing of the past! 

And as you can never have too much good news, the Powerlite shell and Precisionfit Pro Tour integrated liners are totally thermosettable, so you can perfectly customise your boots. A custom fit to cocoon your precious feet! The liners are made from high-quality Ultralon foam and have asymmetrical tongues for a more ergonomic fit.

Mindbender 120:

This 120 version is the mid-range model in the Mindbender range. Like the 130 version, it features a Ripcord Power Cinch 45mm strap for maximum deflection and support. The density of the plastic is slightly lower than the 130, which means that the boot is a little less rigid and more comfortable. With a high flex of 120, this version remains very efficient and precise, so you can tackle the steepest slopes and unleash the speed when you hit the powder.
The integrated PrecisionFit Pro Tour liner is also the brand's most advanced liner: 100% thermoformable, the high density Ultralon foam ensures maximum durability and unrivalled support, even at high speed!
