This ski is aimed at an experienced skier who masters all types of snow and is very comfortable in deep snow.
The Mindbender 116C is the widest ski K2 offers. With 116mm of width at the waist, it is not a show-off. The rocker is long and high in the tip and tail. No need to question it, it is made for riding freshly fallen powder.
Built with Carbon Boost from K2, you will benefit from a good pop and a reasonable weight. The Spectral Braid brings manoeuvrability and precision, and given the dimensions of this ski this is more than necessary! Its maple and paulownia core gives it a very good flex and excellent stability. The Slantwall technology is designed to improve the responsiveness and precision of the ski.
K2 has included all the technologies to counteract the negative aspects of a ski with large dimensions, i.e. precision, responsiveness and manoeuvrability. This gives the Mindbender 116C versatility - it is not just for riding fresh powder.

POWDER ROCKER - High and long rise in the tip, low camber underfoot and medium and long rise in the tail to maximise flotation in soft snow.
Maple/paulownia core: Dense hardwood with excellent power transfer and stability / Lively and flexible wood with an excellent strength-to-weight ratio.

BOOST CARBONE: Longitudinal carbon edge on the core for more pop and bounce.
SPECTRAL BRAID: Spectral Braid is a fibre reinforcement that allows precision twisting and bending by changing the orientation of the fibres along the ski. Skis with Spectral Braid from K2 have stability and control while remaining extremely manoeuvrable.
SLANTWALL: Adding a 30 degree sidewall angle to K2's Hybritech construction Slantwall increases the ski's agility and responsiveness while maintaining precision and power.
Dès la première impression, le Mindbender 116C ne passe pas inaperçu. Ses dimensions et son graphisme attire les regards et impressionne sur les pistes.
Destiné à de la poudreuse fraichement tombée, vous n'aurez rien à dire si vous pouvez rider ce ski dans ces conditions. Son terrain de chasse est la neige fraîche qui arrive aux genoux.
Contrairement aux apparences, ce ski est léger pour ses dimensions. L'accroche est bonne sur piste, la maniabilité aussi mais à haute vitesse sur neige dure ça ne vaut pas un ski alpin. Il vaut mieux rester en dehors de piste, on s'amuse plus.
