No subject to promotional offersThe Megalight de chez Nidecker is a men's freeride snowboard for rides from advanced to expert level. The flagship board of the Nidecker freeride range, the Megalight needs no introduction as it is so well known. But just for the fun of it, we'll do it anyway!
The Megalight is a stylish and powerful freeride board. It has a Light Core integrated into a N-Tech 2.0 construction. The 3DN Concept refines the core in the centre of the board for easier longitudinal twisting and therefore improved control.
The Freeflex 3.0 spatulas are also thinner and are made of elastomer for improved shock absorption. The Megalight is a stable board that deforms despite its rigidity. The Freeride Camrock camber offers a long nose rocker for great flotation in the powder.
The Megalight 2022 is made to hunt for the most committed lines and powder spots where few riders can venture!

Camber:
Freeride Camrock (camber + rocker): classic camber under the feet for grip, combined with two rockers. The Camrock has a long nose rocker and a shorter tail rocker. Monster buoyancy and increased manoeuvrability.
Shape:
Nose Diamond Pic: directional shape with a generous nose that increases flotation in powder and allows to reduce the size of the board.
Round Diamond Tail: tail is more compact and increases the lift, allowing you to ride switch without affecting the responsiveness of the board.
Core:
Light Core: the lightest core in the Nidecker range made of paulownia for lightness, poplar for pop and beech (stringers) for durability, edge strength and pop.
N-Tech 2.0: results of several years of research mixing cap and Freeflex 3.0 the extremities construction. This gives the board a lot of torsional energy and a unique evolutionary flex for even more performance.
Freeflex 3.0: by removing the thickness of wood and glass fibres in the spatulas and replacing them with stronger but lighter materials. The result is a board that is lighter, more powerful, more responsive, more durable and more effective at absorbing vibration.
3D N-Concept: Important development at Nidecker. A special core geometry gives the board a different flex under each support. This allows for an insane level of control of the board.
Topsheet:
Absorbnid: topsheet absorbing vibrations and making the board more reactive, dynamic and above all less tiring.
Triax Plus: 45° triaxial fibreglass providing rigidity and therefore responsiveness and pop to the core.
Sole:
N-9000: sole boosted with carbon nano-particles. The N-9000 is Nidecker's strongest and most durable sole. It will therefore require more regular waxing
La Megalight est une planche sensationnelle ! Niveau sensations, on peut vous garantir que vous allez en faire le plein ! Faite pour charger, la Megalight est facile en poudreuse car elle est faite pour ça. Elle est aussi à l'aise en terrain plus difficile et sa précision est d'une grande aide pour exécuter des passages au millimètre.
La Megalight ne laisse pas de place au doute et permet de rider fort en toute confiance. Planche pure freeride, la rigidité de la planche est également à l'aise sur la piste pour s'adonner à quelques carves.
