The Mega Merc 2027 from the brand Capita is a high-end all-mountain snowboard designed for demanding riders who want to exploit the full potential of the mountain. Inspired by the versatility of the Mercury, it combines lightness, power, and precision thanks to a premium construction.
Its fairly stiff flex ensures excellent high-speed stability while maintaining enough dynamism to vary the terrain. Its Directional shape with a 0.5" setback promotes control on descents and float in powder. The Resort V2 profile combines camber underfoot, lifted contact points, and Flat Kick tips to offer reliable edge hold, quick edge-to-edge transitions, and more forgiving landings.
The New Age Progressive Death Grip™ sidecut enhances trajectory precision even when the pace picks up. Its core, the 3D Thermopolymer Starship Core™, made of selected poplar and recycled thermopolymer channels, optimises the weight-to-strength ratio while preserving powerful pop. The Hybrid Carbon Holysheet™ fiberglass combined with MegaCarbon™ and Magic Bean™ resin improves responsiveness without weighing the board down.
