On-piste skis - Women -
The Mantra 80 W is a versatile women's piste ski from the brand Völkl that facilitates the initiation of turns and offers effortless power transmission to beginner skiers.
Its multilayer wood core with two different wood densities guarantees performance beyond your expectations. In the binding area, a dense ash wood provides stability, while the section in more flexible poplar offers resilience and flexibility. The base is made of high molecular weight sintered polyethylene, ensuring excellent glide.
The full-length sidewalls ensure direct power transmission, and a mini-overlay on the edges extends the ski’s lifespan. Additionally, the Glass Frame fiberglass construction provides a dynamic and sporty glide. Finally, the 3D Radius Sidecut technology makes the ski agile in short turns and stable in long curves, while remaining forgiving.
Thus, the Mantra 80 W was designed to deliver a high level of performance to skiers looking to make rapid progress on piste or off, in powder as well as on groomed snow.

| Ski length | Sidecut dimensions (mm) | Radius (m) | Ski weight (g) |
| 147 cm | 121 - 80 - 103 | (R1) 15.5 m, (R2) 11.3 m, (R3) 14.2 m | 1,240 |
| 154 cm | 121 - 80 - 103 | (R1) 17.5 m, (R2) 12.7 m, (R3) 15.9 m | 1,310 |
| 161 cm | 121 - 80 - 103 | (R1) 18.7 m, (R2) 13.7 m, (R3) 17.4 m | 1,350 |
| 168 cm | 121 - 80 - 103 | (R1) 20.9 m, (R2) 15.3 m, (R3) 19.2 m | 1,450 |
- Sidewalls along the entire length for direct power transmission
- Mini overlapping cap on the edges for longer durability
| MULTILAYER WOODCORE | Multilayer wood core with two different wood densities. In the binding area, a dense ash core is used, while the rest of the ski features a poplar core. The denser wood retains the screws and ensures stability, while the more flexible poplar section provides resilience and suppleness. |
| P-TEX 2100 | High-density sintered polyethylene base with high molecular weight offering excellent durability and exceptional glide. |
| 3D RADIUS SIDECUT | Use of a long radius at the tip and endpiece for large, high-speed turns. The tip resists well at high speed and there is no radius limitation at turn exit for greater ease. A shorter radius is used for small turns at medium speed. This allows easy turn initiation, exceptional agility, and especially less effort on short turns. |
| GLASS FRAME | Glass Frame fiberglass frame offers a wide range of skiers easy access to dynamic and sporty skiing while providing stability and damping properties at the tip and endpiece. |
