| Merino Wool | Merino sheep's wool offers exceptional comfort and performance. Soft and supple, this wool is an excellent thermal insulator that is ideal for regulating body temperature in both winter and summer. It can absorb a third of its own weight in the form of water vapour, and its contribution of heat prevents you from feeling cold. Even when wet, this item stays warm. Wool fibres are naturally resistant to mechanical action, are dirt-repellent and anti-bacterial, considerably reducing unpleasant odours and the need for washing. Like all natural materials, merino wool is biodegradable |
| RWS - Responsible Wool Standard | RWS is a global standard to which producers voluntarily adhere, which aims to ensure the well-being of sheep and respect for pastures. It ensures that farm practices have been verified, so that brands have a clear solution that allows them to make claims about the origin of the wool with confidence. |
| Lyocell - Tencel® | Lyocell is a hybrid fibre Manufacture process that is much more environmentally friendly than modal or viscose, in which almost all the chemicals used are recycled. "Lyocell" is the generic name for the manufacturing process and the fibre. Tencel® is the brand name for Lyocell marketed by Lenzing AG. Tencel® is manufactured from eucalyptus grown in PEFC-certified forests because it grows quickly without the need for pesticides, fertilisers or irrigation. |
