Pertex® uses incredibly fine yarns, woven with precision to create a very light, yet resistant and durable material. Its flexibility allows the synthetic and down insulation to expand to their maximum volume, while its structure prevents the down from escaping through the surface of the fabric. This material is windproof. Our products use different variants, such as Quantum, Classic and Microlight. They have the same basic characteristics, but vary in weight. |

Polartec® Alpha® is the latest innovation in synthetic insulation, offering an exceptional combination of warmth, lightness and breathability in a puffy garment. Polartec® Alpha® insulation is very resistant and more stable than other synthetic insulations, and allows for more open knit fabrics on both sides (outer and inner), to create an air-permeable structure. This volume of circulating air rapidly evacuates moisture, making Polartec® Alpha® fabric more versatile than conventional insulation that blocks water vapour. |
