

The Jester 18 Pro ID are freeride and freestyle ski bindings from Marker.
Designed for confirmed freeride and freestyle skiers looking for performance in all conditions. Incorporating the practical Sole.ID technology, the bindings are compatible with alpine standard (ISO 5355), touring standard (ISO 9523) or even GripWalk soles.
The binding is very well balanced in terms of weight, which gives it an excellent behavior for freestyle use. Combined with its short and compact design, the Jester 1 behaves very well in turns. The presence of magnesium makes it more robust while still remaining light.
As with all the brands bindings AFD (Anti Friction Device) technology ensures reliable and accurate release. In addition, the front Triple Pivot and its Interpivot 3 heel give it good shock absorbing facilities, especially in freeride, to toe piece the skis prematurely detaching and they also promote an ideal power transmission.

The front jaw spring is placed in an oblique position, and the 5° inclined sole support ensures the highest level of energy absorption to reduce the risk of early release. A large support surface optimizes the transmission of forces and allows the implementation of the highest forces. The jaws with this technology reach levels of performance never equaled, relative to their weight.
- Inter-pivot 3 Heel : The third and more modern generation has been completely redesigned: improved power transmission, energy absorption and vertical elasticity of the heel combined with increased comfort.
