Designed for confident freeride and freestyle skiers looking for performance in all conditions.  Integrating the very practical Sole.ID technology, the bindingis compatible with alpine standard (ISO 5355) or touring standard (ISO 9523) ski boots. Aimed at advanced to expert skiers, the Jester 16 ID is proving to be very sturdy thanks to the tear-resistant screws. The binding is very well balanced in terms of weight, which gives it an excellent behavior for freestyle use.

The binding is very well balanced in terms of weight, which gives it an excellent behavior for freestyle use. Combined with its short and compact design, the Jester 16 ID behaves very well in turns. The presence of magnesium makes it more robust while still remaining light.

As with all the brand's bindings, the AFD (Anti Friction Device technology ensures reliable and accurate release. In addition, the front and rear jaws allow very good energy absorption, especially freeride, to avoid an early release and promote an ideal power transmission.

Finally, the Jester 16 ID ID is introducing new toe pieces and heel pieces with lightweight magnesium components to give you superior grip and safety for freestyle and freeriding.

Recommended for skis wider than 76 mm.

Technologies:

- AFD Stainless Steel: All Marker bindings have an AFD (anti friction device) that guarantees reliable and accurate release, virtually unaffected by dirt, snow or ice! Adjustment of the AFD can be varied according to the activity, whether it may be competitive runs, children's activities or ski touring.

- Triple Pivot Elite 3: this concept of front toe piece, with DIN / ISO up to Z 18, guarantees an exceptional support for a freeride session. The front toe piece spring is placed in an horizontal position, with a 5 ° inclined foot support which gives it great shock absorption facilities to prevent the skis detaching prematurely. The large support surface optimizes the transmission of forces and deals with high mechanical stress. In relation to their weight, toe pieces with this technology achieve unprecedented levels of performance.

- Inter-pivot 3 Heel : The third and more modern generation has been completely redesigned: improved power transmission, energy absorption and vertical elasticity of the heel combined with increased comfort.

- Magnesium Part: Magnesium is the lightest and strongest construction metal which makes it perfect for high end products. There is nothing better to have for faster descents and tighter turns.

- Anti Ice Rail: Use the metal rail to scrape ice and snow from under the sole of your boot.

- Sole.ID: No matter your boot, all of the Sole ID bindings from Marker are compatible with any kind of ski boots. Whether you prefer alpine ski boots or ski touring boots, with Sole.ID you can adjust the binding in a few seconds. The secret is the height-adjustable sliding plate; easy to use, it obviously offers uncompromising performance. Sole.ID conforms to the alpine standard ISO 5355 and touring standard ISO 9523.
