Alpine touring ski bindings -
The Hy 11 Free Black from the brand ATK Bindings combines the efficiency of an insert binding with the responsiveness of an alpine binding to offer a precise and reassuring downhill experience.
In ski mode, the boot rests flat directly on the ski, eliminating the height difference typical of classic PIN bindings and promoting excellent control. Compatible with most alpine, mountaineering, and freeride boots, the toe piece features an adjustable AFD thanks to shims adapted to different sole types. This design ensures optimal contact while helping to absorb vibrations.
Transitions are quick and intuitive: simply lift the toe levers to switch to walk mode, then push them forward to ski. On the ascent, the "negative" walk mode slightly lowers the endpiece under the level of the toe to improve stride efficiency and reduce fatigue. Two easily activated climbing risers, operated with a pole, complete the setup. Finally, the Hy Brake System automatically locks in walk mode and naturally releases when switching to ski mode, allowing for smooth transitions without unnecessary manipulation.

| ALUMINIUM 7075 | Aluminium 7075 (or Alu 7075) is an alloy used in the aerospace industry for its good anodising properties and excellent machinability. It can also be used for fasteners, tooling bases, and certain sports equipment (bindings, mountaineering carabiners, etc.). |
| POM | Polyoxymethylene (POM), also known as acetal, polyacetal, and polyformaldehyde, is a technical thermoplastic used in precision parts requiring high rigidity, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability. |
| HY BRAKE SYSTEM | The rear brake automatically locks when the endpiece is in walking mode. Thus, once the rear lever is fully pushed forward, a simple press on the rear paddle locks the brake in position. When switching to ski mode, the brake naturally unlocks by pushing the rear lever back, ensuring effortless use. |
