The Hitchhikers have been designed to be mounted on Burton splitboards fitted with The Channel system. They are the ultimate bindings for your Splitboard Anti-Socialor Flight Attendant Split.

High performance splitboard bindings look to reduce the weight and improve ride, particularly in climbs. The Hitchhikers are designed to be attacking in both ascents and descents. You'll fast track your climbs with Hitchhikers!
The Hitchhikers are thought to be the most comfortable, reliable bindings around and have really revolutionised splitboard performance. The Tesla T1 baseplate and Hammockstrap make conversions easer and the integrated, mounted connections on the baseplate allow you to rest your thighs when things speed up on the slope.
The negative lean highback makes walking an absolute pleasure! This binding offers a very good weight/ascent performance ratio. Voilé transition kits are no longer required so this is lighter, but it is extremely simple hardware which is practical to use.
The Spark Tesla T1 can be adapted to skins already mounted on to Burton splitboards.

Highback: Burton-Designed Single-Component Negative Lean spoiler with Quick-Adjust FLAD™ :one-piece negative lean highback makes walking easier. FLAD system angle adjusting.
Straps - Hammockstrap™ with Flex Slider and Supergrip Capstrap™: reduction of materials used to eliminate any pinch points. The addition of a nylon reinforcement buckle increases the fixing's responsiveness. The Supergrip Capstrap™'s minimalist design is a technological blend of two different materials. The Flex slider allows the reinforced heel strap to open as wide as it will go so you can get strapped in even faster.
Buckles - Double Take Buckles Featuring Insta-Click: Fast strap fastening using oblique teeth with more torque. More torque means faster and easier buckling!
Only compatible with splitboards kitted out with Voilé pucks.

Burton Hitchhiker bindings are easy to use on the ascent and reliable on the descent. Working like the Voilé system, the base plate's shape means that you can directly slide onto the pods. This avoids you feeling higher than the board, and there is only a small reaction time thanks to the plates of the Voile Kit. The Hammockstrap straps ensure a firm and secure fit, as well as a certain amount of comfort for this aluminium base and padless binding!
The Hitchhikers keep their promise both on the way up and down. As with the Voilé Kit, snow or ice can sometimes prevent you from sliding properly on the pods, but after scraping off the excess snow, everything will work perfectly. The negative position of the spoiler improves walking, making them just as efficient as ski touring bindings. Hitchhikers are without doubt the best bindings for your Burton splitboard.
The Pros: practical, compact and rigid.
The Cons: ice can get in the way of the slides.
