The XTD version of the Hawx range returns this year with even more performance! The Freetouring model combines the legendary fit of the classic Hawx with the hiking system of Backland shoes. The best of alpine skiing and ski touring in a single boot!

For freetouring, the Hawx Prime Xtd 120 CT Gw features tech precision inserts and a GripWalk sole as well as Igus polymer rings which ensure 100% natural movement for effortless climbs. They use the Free/Lock 4.0 system of the Backland hiking boot, giving it a range of motion of 54° on the ascent, and an ultra-secure and fast locking on the descent.

On the slopes, the Energy Backbone technology allows you to ski with power thanks to a reinforcement at the rear that improves energy transmission, for real freeride sensations. Their Prolite construction makes the shoe very light to help you on the ascents, but strong enough to go down the slopes at high speed.

All the shoes in the range incorporate a Memory Fit thermoformable liner, which offers a custom fit in minutes for even more comfort. The Memory Fit 3D Gold liner is partially thermoformable at the ankle and heel. Lightweight, breathable and washable, offering a better fit and good insulation against the cold to keep your feet warm in all conditions.

Its True Flex PU shell makes it more flexible than the Xtd 130 model, for more comfort while remaining well adjusted and adapted to your foot. In addition, True Flex technology allows the shell to keep the same characteristics regardless of the conditions: no more rigid shoes in cold weather or more flexible shoes in hot weather!
