Description

The Griffon 13 Black is a freeride ski binding from the brand Marker.

Marker thinks of everybody, so thanks to this Griffon 13 lighter riders can have access to a high end binding too. The Jester 16's younger sibling, it has the same concepts and remarkable design from the German brand.

Featuring highly practical technology Sole.ID, the binding is compatible with standard alpine boots (ISO 5355) or standard hikingboots (ISO 9523). Designed for experienced to expertskiers, it is very robust and rigid thanks to its tear-resistant screws. The binding is very well balanced in terms of weight, which gives it an excellent behavior for freestyle use. Combined with a short, compact design, this binding performs very well during rotations.

As with all the brands bindings AFD (Anti Friction Device) technology ensures reliable and accurate release. In addition, the front and rear jaws provide good shock absorption, to avoid an early release and promote an ideal power transmission.

The secret is the height-adjustable sliding plate; easy to use, it obviously offers uncompromising performance. Sole.ID complies with standards ISO 5355 (alpine ski boots) and ISO 9523 (boots with ski touring soles).
AFD PLATE	All bindings Marker are equipped with a fastening AFD (anti friction device) and guarantee the highest precision trigger, with virtually no influence from dirt, snow or ice! Adjustment of the AFD can be varied according to the activity, whether it may be competitive runs, children's activities or ski touring.
TRIPLE PIVOT ELITE TOE	This front jaw concept, with DIN/ISO up to Z 18, guarantees exceptional retention force for freeride. The front jaw spring is placed in an oblique position, and the 5° inclined sole support ensures the highest level of energy absorption to reduce the risk of early release. A large support surface optimizes the transmission of forces and allows the implementation of the highest forces. The jaws with this technology reach levels of performance never equaled, relative to their weight.
INTER PIVOT 3 FREERIDE HEEL	The Inter-pivot heel support offers tremendous force during freeride thanks to its values DIN/ISO of 4-13. The pressure is directed at the angle of elasticity which increases the holding force and prevents early triggering.
