This design gives all Kästle skis provides ideal flex and torsional rigidity with power transfer that is more sensitive and direct. This leads to amazing control when you're really opening it up and letting it fly. The POWERZONE-SANDWICH-SIDEWALL construction combines the advantages of the classical structure and SEMI-CAP SANDWICH-SIDEWALL.
Core structure: WOODCORE: Each Kästle ski is made with the finest wood core, manufactured with precision to one tenth of a millimetre. This allows the brand to control the weight, responsiveness and cushioning characteristics of the ski, resulting in a high-quality, durable product. The wood type, or combination of different woods, is individually catered to each model line, based on the ski‘s intended use.

Technology:

- Hollowtech 3.0: Their patented technology is specific to ski manufacturing. Removing unneeded layers at the front makes the ski lighter. This method has several advantages: the ski absorbs up to 30% of shocks, it is more stable, its grip is stronger, the steering is more precise and its total weight is kept as low as possible.
- Elliptical Radius: The shape of the Elliptical Radius determines how quickly and aggressively the ski turns.
- Rise: Rise technology allows for tip optimisation for better float control depending on the terrain.
- Hook Free Shovel: The longer tip is often combined with Early or Progressive Rise technology. By moving the point of contact with the snow to the centre of the ski, it is easier and more fun to exit turns.
- Hook Free Tail: The tail is combined with Dual Rise technology, with a longer tip moving the contact point towards the centre of the ski. The result is a forgiving, playful performance when exiting a turn.
