With these additions, there's no chance of a ray hitting your eye without first passing through the protective lenses. Designed for use in the mountains, glacier goggles are also very useful in the open sea or on the beach, where there is a lot of glare that can damage your eyes.

The lenses are category 4 (the highest) and polarised. They offer maximum protection for your eyes. With these, there's no chance of damaging your retina, and polarisation drastically reduces glare and makes it easier to perceive shapes and colours.
