Free 28 Removable Airbag 3.0 Black

The Free 28 Removable Airbag 3.0 Black joins the family of Airbag backpacks at Mammut.

Inspired by trail-running waistcoats, the Free 28 is designed to be worn as close to the body as possible for minimum oscillation and maximum stability during exercise. The waist belt, optimised shoulder straps and new 3D pre-shaped back are also there to provide high comfort and a perfect fit. Designed to accompany you safely on your long winter outings in the mountains, the Free 28 and its 28L offers all the storage space you need for your equipment. There's a large main compartment, a ski/snowboard holder, a pocket for avalanche safety equipment and a helmet/pole holder.

Designed to keep you on the surface in the event of an avalanche, the Airbag system is an essential safety feature when operating in high-risk environments. The Removable Airbag System 3.0 on the Free 28 is activated in 3 seconds with an adjustable trigger handle and its bright orange colour makes it quickly visible, even from a distance.
