The Free 22 Removable Airbag 3.0 Black is a ski backpack with a removable airbag system from the brand Mammut.

Inspired by trail/running vests, the Free 22 features a carrying system close to the body for minimal oscillation and maximum stability during exertion. The abdominal belt, optimised shoulder straps, and the new 3D pre-shaped back panel also provide high comfort and a perfect fit.

Designed to accompany you safely on your winter mountain outings, this backpack, with a volume of 22 litres, offers all the necessary storage for your equipment. It notably includes a large main compartment, a ski and snowboard carry system, a pocket dedicated to avalanche safety gear, and even a helmet and pole holder.

Intended to keep you on the surface in case of an avalanche, the airbag backpack system is an essential safety feature for venturing in risky environments. The Removable Airbag System 3.0 activates in 3 seconds thanks to an adjustable trigger handle, and its bright orange colour ensures quick visibility, even from a distance. This system can be removed from your backpack with a simple zip if you want to lighten it for skiing where it won’t be needed.
