Soft and supple, this wool is an excellent thermal insulator that ideally regulates body temperature both in winter and summer. It can absorb one third of its weight in the form of water vapour, and its heat release prevents the sensation of cooling. Even when wet, the garment remains warm. Wool fibres are naturally resistant to mechanical wear, resist soiling, and are antibacterial, significantly reducing unpleasant odours as well as washing needs. Like all natural materials, merino wool is biodegradable. |
