Advice : Use the foot sizer from SIDAS to help you find the right size
The Disruptive Key X Kopala is a splitboard boot from the brand Key Equipment, released as a limited edition and created in collaboration with the Norwegian skier Kriss Kopala.
Let’s start at the beginning. This is a splitboard boot assembled in the Yaute (in Haute-Savoie). It is durable as it is easy to repair: you can easily replace all the parts yourself. This way, you will keep it year after year, which has a lower environmental impact.
Moreover, the collar of the Disruptive Key X Kopala has been specifically designed for splitboarding. Indeed, the upper part is softer to avoid calf bites. In addition, you can adjust the forward lean by increasing or decreasing it until you find your preferred angle. You can adjust it anywhere, easily and without tools.
The Disruptive features a liner with an integrated walk mode that allows for longer strides. It is also fully thermoformable for high comfort and precision. Finally, this liner is designed to absorb and cushion impacts, reduce vibrations, and the feeling of elasticity that traditional hardboots can cause.
Thus, the Disruptive Key X Kopala is a boot that combines a high level of robustness, durability, and comfort—no surprise when you know that it is with this boot that Kriss Kopala ventures into the snowy mountains.
