Present in the new Disruption range dedicated to the track, the Disruption MTi is the most performing model.
With a turn radius of 18.1m, this ski leaves no doubt about its program. Very stable at high speed, the Disruption MTi will demonstrate its full potential in big turns. Its precise waist allows a quick and incisive edge grip.
In terms of the technology applied to its construction, K2 has spoilt us.
First of all, the Ti I-Beam, a large titanium plate, covers the ski center from the tip to the heel. This plate is coupled with ABS Powerwall edges. This combination provides full-length stiffening of the ski for better precision and stability at high speed. Another specificity on this ski, the presence of Dark Matter Damping, the latest novelty from K2 which is to add a mixture of polymer and carbon to to the edges of the tip and heel inserts. These inserts offer better grip and control allowing you to attack the slope and ski faster.

Speed rocker: Light and short in the front and flat heel
Core: A blend of Aspen wood, light and resilient, and maple, dense and strong.
Dark Matter Damping : A polymeric damper between two layers of carbon strategically placed along the edge of the ski and specifically designed to absorbs shocks.
Ti I-Beam Stability and optimum power transfer along the whole ski 25% more titanium than the Ti Y-Beam present on the Mindbender range.
Powerwall : The transmission of energy to the ski is considerably improved by laminated edges inserted into the wood core of the ski
The Disruption MTi is a great carving ski for the experienced skier looking for performance. The ski goes from edge to edge very easily. At high speed, it does not flinch, the ski makes its way on the ice as if nothing had happened.
Advantages: Incisive, reactive and stable
Disadvantages: You'll have to push hard on your legs if you want to make short turns..
