The Disruption 78C is a downhill ski by K2.
Present in the new Disruption range dedicated to the slopes, the Diruption 78C is one of the most accessible, versatile models on the slopes.
With a medium turn radius, this ski will be comfortable on all types of turns. Its relatively wide waist will give you great stability and incredible versatility.
In terms of the technology applied to its construction, K2 has spoilt us.
First of all, the Carbon I-Beam, a large carbon plate along the entire length of the ski brings better precision and allows a better distribution of energy along the length of the ski. This plate is coupled with ABS Powerwall edges. This combination provides a moderate stiffening of the ski over its entire length for better precision in turns. Another specificity on this ski, the presence of Dark Matter Damping, the latest novelty from K2 which is to add a mixture of polymer and carbon to to the edges of the tip and heel inserts. These inserts offer better grip and control allowing you to attack the slope and ski faster.
The Disruption 78C is a versatile downhill ski that will delight the intermediate to advanced skier.
