Technical inserts at the front, made from a special three-layer material with a windproof membrane, provide protection from the elements while remaining breathable. Air pockets in the fabric provide optimum insulation.

On the practical side, this jacket has a close-fitting hood compatible with a helmet, secure pockets that are accessible even with a backpack, and elasticated cuffs that retain body heat.
