Description
The Freeski Centaure Rescue Matt Black Wood helmet is a men's design from Cairn that combines safety with a designer look for freeriding fans.
The Centaure Rescue Matt Black Wood features an In-Mold shell with an EPS inner shell and an ABS outer shell, both joined together. They absorb impacts and distribute them across the helmet to provide complete protection.
It is also fitted with an Optimized Sound System (OSS) with earphones sunk into the inside to avoid blocking the ears, formed in a V-shape to perfectly surround the ear for maximum comfort. In addition, they feature a mesh-lined opening to let the sound pass through whilst reducing the flow of air.
The Wheel Fit System provides you with an adjustment system that provides you with maximum precision to ensure the helmet stays perfectly in place during all winter sports. This helmet has adjustable ventilation to manage the flow of air depending on the conditions, putting you in control.
This new Cairn helmet is also fitted with a Recco transmitter built into the jugular area, enabling you to be located quickly in the event of an avalanche.

Recco: Recco technology means you can be located in the event of an avalanche. With the Recco reflectors, a person buried in the snow can be quickly and precisely located by rescuers. However, this does not replace the use of an AVD (Avalanche Victim Protector). Cairn and Recco work hand-in-hand, and this year they have come up with an innovative design that integrates the Recco reflector into the helmet shell itself, for added durability and a stylish look.
