BARRYVOX DVA:

The Barryvox 1 is an avalanche victim detector (DVA), designed for mountain activities in risky terrain: off-piste, freeride, mountaineering, ski touring. The brand strives to develop DVAs that are ever more efficient and easy to use, so that every rescue can be carried out without wasting a second.

Ease of use:
In terms of use, Mammut has redesigned its casing and interface: information is simple to read, the device can be operated with gloves on, and the casing is shock resistant. The backlit screen is readable even with polarized glasses or in full sunlight. The wrong direction function prevents you from heading in the opposite direction to the victims. To facilitate communication between multiple rescuers, the Barryvox is equipped with an additional W-Link communication channel, protecting you from interference and improving efficiency. In the event of multiple victim burial, the Barryvox offers differentiated marking of victims, which avoids signal conflicts.

Performance:
This device has a maximum range of 70 metres. The Barryvox assists you in the rescue: it shows the distance, the direction to follow, and the number of buried subjects. The sound guidance during the search makes it easier to locate buried persons. The Barryvox battery life is approximately 300 hours in SEND mode and 1 hour in SEARCH mode.

Carrying system:
The BarryMount sheath into which you can slide your Barryvox is of very high quality. Adjustable and practical, it allows one-handed operation without removing your gloves. It also prevents accidental activation of search mode to increase your safety in the field.

Rescuer safety:
The main button integrates a SafeLock safety feature to avoid any accidental activation of receive mode. The Barryvox also has a DVA Check mode allowing you to verify the proper functioning of the DVAs of those with you, all guided by the device’s instructions. Furthermore, if no movement is detected from you for 4 minutes, the Barryvox assumes an avalanche on top and automatically switches to SEND mode.


ALUGATOR SHOVEL:

The Alugator is a solid avalanche shovel. This model is durable and lightweight. It is made from tempered and anodised aluminium combined with stabilising blades for increased resistance and high rigidity. It features an ergonomic T-handle for better grip. It is a compact model that can be stored in a backpack without taking up too much space.

PROBE 240 PROBE:

This professional avalanche probe features the telescopic Speed Lock system: it is easy and quick to use even with gloves on. This high-quality aluminium probe is very stiff and durable. Extend it until you hear the click that indicates it is securely locked.

You can then get useful information at a glance thanks to the 360-degree visual depth indicator. The tip’s shape has been designed to penetrate debris efficiently to save time, as every second counts.
