Description

The Blackland is a helmet from Atomic designed specifically for ski touring.

The AMID construction combined with the Holo Core provides maximum shock absorption and 40% more protection than required by industry standards. The AMID foam is a revolutionary dual-density foam system that protects you during impact. Thanks to this manufacturing process, you will be very well protected in a helmet that remains light.

In terms of comfort and fit, the Blackland incorporates 360°technology Fit Systemwhich allows a 360° adjustment for a more precise fit that adapts to the shape and size of your head. Fidlock® is also equipped with a revolutionary magnetic buckle that allows you to open and close your helmet easily even with gloves!

As for ventilation, the Backland UL includes vents and the Aircon system provides better heat dissipation. For added comfort, there is a removable and washable 3M X-Static anti-bacterial and anti-odour lining.

The Blackland is also equipped with the RECCO which makes it easier for rescuers to locate people wearing the system in the event of an avalanche, thus minimising risks. This system does not replace the use of transceivers.

This helmet is also multi-purpose, so you can ski, climb or cycle with it as well!

- AMID: Atomic Multi-Directional Impact Deflector (AMID) is a revolutionary, dual density foam system that provides up to 40% more impact protection than industry safety standards require.

- 360 Fit System: This 360° progressive fit adjustment system allows you to adapt the helmet not only to the size of your head, but also to its shape. The height is also adjustable for a perfect custom fit.

- RECCO system: RECCO® is an avalanche rescue system used around the world to help locate people quickly. The two-part system features a detector used by rescuers, and reflectors integrated into clothing. Together, they allow rapid localisation using a radar but do not replace the use of transceivers.

- Fidlock® magnetic buckle: A magnetic buckle that is very easy to open and close with one hand, even with gloves, and never pinches the skin.

- Holo core: This unique 'egg carton' construction creates an extended deformation zone for maximum shock absorption. It also comes with ventilation holes to keep it cool and light. This means up to 30% more impact protection than required by industry safety standards.

- Hybrid EPP In-Mold construction: Hybrid shells combine the best of both worlds in helmet construction. The upper part is made of rigid ABS for stability and protection. The bottom part is molded to reduce weight.

- Aircon Venting ventilation: Aircon is Atomic's most advanced cooling system. The Holo Core provides larger and multiple air channels through each layer of the helmet, allowing warm air to escape while the vents actively draw heat away from the head.
